ChromaPrime is a specially formulated priming agent for use with pigment based inks.

Delphax has done extensive research to get the best primer formulation & primer application for compatibility with Memjet’s pigment printhead technology and ink chemistry. Initially developed as part of a solution set in conjunction with the Elan 170, this inovative solution also supports print systems from other Memjet powered OEMs, as well as print systems based upon the HP FI-1000 print engines (such as the “1170” and “1175” devices from other manufacturers).

Supported Running Modes

Up to 150 feet per minute or 18,000 #10 envelopes per hour on the Elan 170 – Inline configuration.

Up to 150 feet per minute Inline on 3rd Party Devices with Delphax provided interface hardware.

Up to 150 feet per minute in near-line mode with optional feeder/output table combination.
